2023 Trends
In 2013, green buildings accounted for only 8 percent of total construction spending. In 2022 green buildings will account for 47% of firms new construction projects. By 2025, market trends predict that over 60% of all new buildings could be labeled net-zero emissions ready. While your home may not be new or set up for net-zero emissions like new buildings, energy efficiency through insulation is still one of the best ways to help the environment and your electric bill. Energy efficiency is a large component of green building design. Did you know that over 35% of the energy used for heating and cooling is wasted?
